Moxiyo CO2 Packets

Bread, uncooked flour tortillas and baked goods packaging solutions.

Moxiyo, ethylene gas blocker and CO2 Emitter extends the shelf life of bread, uncooked flour tortillas and products containing wheat and grains.
Moxiyo packets are used for bread, uncooked flour tortillas and baked goods. Oxygen is converted to a CO2 environment which extends shelf life of and protects flour and products made with grains from mold, spoilage bacteria and increases shelf life.

“Typically a pre-baked bread product packaged in an atmosphere exclusively of carbon dioxide would see an increase in shelf life from around five days to 20 days when stored at room temperature. Some products can retain a shelf life of up to six months if packaged in an appropriate atmosphere and with correct packaging materials.”

Moxiyo is a patented, non-toxic, FDA, USDA approved food grade product, which emits safe, organic CO2, an inert gas that extends the life of food naturally. The CO2 gas acts as a vapor barrier “wrapping” itself around food products to protect against oxygen which can rapidly result in the growth of mold and also cause the product to dry out and become stale.
